How much do your hedgehogs cost?

All of our hedgehogs are priced at $200, no matter the sex, color or markings they may have. Starting June 1, 2013, we will be raising the price of our hedgehogs to $225.

How do I get onto the Waiting List?

Please fill out our online application and send it to our e-mail address happyhedgies@hotmail.com. Once you have completed and sent the application, we will review it and once you have been approved, we will add you to the waiting list.

I was just added to the waiting list, how long before I get to select a hedgehog?

We have a very strict breeding program that allows us to have babies available every month. Saying that, we are able to send many people home each month with their new baby hedgehogs. The waiting list may seem long, but our maximum waiting time is 1.5 months, pretty much the weaning period of a baby hoglet.

How do I tell if my hedgehog is a girl or boy?

A female's genitals are immediately next to the anus, while the male's penis sheath, or "belly button" is farther up the tummy.

How much does it cost to reserve a hedgehog?

We will contact you when there are baby hedgehogs available for you to choose from. Once you have chosen your hoglet, we ask for a $25 non-refundable deposit to hold the hedgehog for you. We only accept cash and Paypal deposits. Be prepared there is a Paypal fee that needs to be paid by the buyers expense when using Paypal.
